MICRO Pedi FAQs
Q. Is the MICRO Pedi and MICRO Pedi MAN suitable for use by everyone?
No, the MICRO Pedi and MICRO Pedi MAN are not suitable for children, those with diabetes or poor blood circulation. They are also not to be used on areas that are red, irritated, inflamed or infected.
Q. Why is someone who has diabetes excluded from using the product?
Some diabetics are at extreme risk of getting an infection due to the lack of feeling in their feet (neuropathy) and their inability to heal normally. Even a small nick can lead to gangrene, resulting in the amputation of toes, feet, or legs. It is therefore safer to avoid using the MICRO Pedi and MICRO Pedi MAN if you are a diabetic.
Q. Why is someone with poor blood circulation excluded from using the product?
Poor circulation means that there’s less feeling (not as aware if their skin gets cut) and the skin becomes thinner therefore more at risk of nicks etc. This is something that older people should be aware of.
Q. Is it possible to take too much skin off the soles of the feet by using the MICRO Pedi or MICRO Pedi MAN?
No, the MICRO Pedi and MICRO Pedi MAN are designed to only buff away dry and hard skin. Once this skin is removed, although the roller will continue to spin, the user will no longer notice any further skin coming off the foot.
Q. What is the difference between the six types of replacement rollers?
1. Coarse (pink) - ideal for sensitive skin - for finishing and smoothing the feet
2. Extra Coarse (blue) - ideal for harder skin and all over foot buffing
3. Super Coarse (grey) - ideal for tough and stubborn hard skin
4. Extreme Coarse (green) - the coarsest roller in the MICRO Pedi roller range, it is a favourite with beauty professionals
5. MICRO Pedi MINI rollers - these rollers are the only rollers that fit the MICRO Pedi MINI device
6. MICRO Pedi Nails Inc rollers - these rollers are the only rollers that fit the MICRO Pedi Nails Inc device
Q. You say that the super coarse (blue and golden colour) micro mineral rollers are designed specifically for men’s feet and in conjunction with the MICRO Pedi MAN. Is it possible to use these rollers if you are female and in conjunction with the MICRO Pedi?
Yes, the super coarse micro mineral rollers can be used with both the MICRO Pedi and MICRO Pedi MAN units and by males and females.
Q. How do I clean the rollers?
A. Avoid using water or submerging the rollers in water. It is advisable to clean the rollers using the brush provided or any soft bristle brush.
Q. How do I clean my MICRO Pedi/MICRO Pedi MAN unit?
A. The MICRO Pedi unit is water resistant and the head of the unit can therefore be rinsed under running water. The MICRO Pedi MAN unit is not water resistant and therefore should be cleaned using a dry cloth or with the brush provided. Remove the rollers before you clean your unit.
Q. How many uses will I get from each roller?
This depends on how rough the skin on your feet is. Everyone is different, however a good indication would be between 8 and 10 uses per roller.
